Saffron makes Jackie clothes when she can. Jackie's cutest clothes are all made by her. But she doesn't have the time to make as much as Jackie wants.
When I first started doing this comic, the plan was to update it a chapter at a time about once a month. It's what I did for the first three chapters. It was working out well.
Somewhere along the line, folks convinced me to update once a week, that this would increase readership and make the comic better.
Except the pacing of the story is such that it makes more sense and is more entertaining when read in large chunks rather than spaced out. So readership fell. Dramatically. And my ability to make good pages fell. Dramatically. These were always supposed to be short stories in a series. Posting a couple pages per week makes as much sense as Lemony Snickett publishing a couple pages of A Series of Unfortunate Events per week rather than doing it every time he finished a whole book. I know most webcomics update page-by-page, but it's not working for this one.
There are lots of ways to follow this comic and be alerted right when it updates, so you don't even have to keep visiting to see if there's an update. There's also a status bar below the comic that gives an estimation of when the next chapter will be ready.
I know some of you are gonna hate this, and I'm gonna be sad to see you go. I hope most of you stick around because these comics are gonna be a lot better in the future, though less frequent. Thanks for understanding.

I have huge boobs. Its hard to find shirts that fit. The plus sized shirts gap in the arms (I have teeny noodle arms) and the normal sized shirts are too tight on the bust and end up rolling up and giving me a pooch. SUCKSSSSS.
Thank you. I’m a woman, but got tired of my best friend wearing polo shirts all the time. So I did the right thing, took him to the mall to get new clothes, and that’s pretty much what we found. There’s a wide range of different types of shirts, but they all ultimately look the same. Grey, brown or green with the same ugly screen designs on front for t-shirts, polo shirts are the only way to get some color.

It’s been a while since you last updated, are you busy doing something else or has something happened?
I don’t have time to work on 3 webcomics at the same time at the pace I was going at, so this one will be getting updates whenever I can get them done. I guess I’m also recharging my batteries on this story, since the fast pace took a lot of steam out of me.
It’s not dead, though!
Take your time, we’ll be here when it comes… waiting…. always waiting and watching… and staring.. always staring…

Are you going to update the progress bar? or, are you really just at 30% still? Pardon my asking, just wondering.
^ I was wondering the same thing. I’m beginning to question if I just stop checking here. It was kind of a bummer to have the new schedule as there had even been a reader vote against it, but I accepted that it’s really the artist’s decision. However, if this is a situation of the comic majorly slowing down (or even ending) though, it’d be good to know.
I am very disappointed that this comic has been abandoned.
I have been stopping by to check daily, but the site still says “next update March 12″ and “30% finished”. I appreciate your talent and honestly don’t mind waiting however long, but after reloading every day to find not so much as a hint as to when or even if the next update will be, I feel like I am just wasting my time.
Follow the RSS or the tumblr and it’ll let you know so you don’t have to check back all the time.

The waiting is kind of killing me, oh but the wait will be worth it. Maybe I should actually start reading LPFOS while I wait… never got to that for some reason and I’m not sure why because I love sci-fi pirate things.
